With Mother's Day just round the corner, well 16 days to be precise, I decided to dig back into the archives of my images to 2011 to one of my favourite shoots.  Hilary, her gorgeous daughters and I took a stroll around the beautiful grounds of Lyme Hall set in the simply fantabulous Lyme Park, Disley.  It was a beautiful day, Hilary was totally open to my ideas about positioning and posing - we formally discussed this with the girls and..... well, that was never really going to happen, was it!! Haha!

Anyone who has been on a shoot with me will know I am not one to force people to pose (especially children).  Let's just say, I 'cajole' them into being where I want them and then with some gentle persuasion by a parent (usually in the form of joking around or tickling or bribery....whatever works!), I capture the truly natural expressions and interactions between children and their parents.  No-one wants a bossy, shouty, moody photographer and I certainly don't feel that would relax or get the best out of anyone.  That said, I would avoid booking me for an early morning shoot - just saying! ;)

I constantly photograph my children (shocking, I know!) - sometimes simply on my iPhone- everyday stuff, not much good for print but great to look back on, until I loose my phone...again.  I urge anyone who hasn't recently, take the time to book a professional shoot and allow me to capture the here and now - I promise it will be worth your time and investment!  Please contact me now for my latest price list and to check availability.
