It's not often you can sledge into Disley Village Centre but Thursday 29th January 2015 was one of those days! I think most of the villagers were taken by surprise at the sheer volume of snow that fell on our little village and we were surprised to learn that there was hardly any in Marple and Stockport. Roads and pavements merged into one and fortunately most people - well most of our friends were able to work from home - well, at least for the morning! Let's just say, with the buses being cancelled to High Schools and many of the local schools closed, by lunch time the Rams Head pub was packed! All the children had a blast having snowball fights out the back, whilst the adults took advantage of the forced holiday inside the warm and cosy pub!
